Our new Homeschool Space

Introduction to our new homeschool space...It was really important for Addie that we made our homeschool area very much like school, she really needed a defined space that was "school" This side pretty much explains itself, my white board and teaching tools.

I need to add school rules and a few more things before it is complete but I wanted to share it with you anyway.

This is ethan's little area right now, where he plays while I work or while addie does her school work. Eventually he will use the little table to do some of his work...

We will use it for some of our messier science projects so we don't mess up our nice new desk. As you can see we have our classroom fish tank and the nice part is, that is has been so beautiful the last few mornings we have had class with the windows open, enjoying God's creation! Reason #5 why I love to homeschool.

Here is the work space...we wanted a desk big enough that they could both use it eventually, I tell you IKEA has everything. The green cabinet holds our curriculum, games, and art supplies. We have our bookshelf that we are working on filling up slowly but surely.

It feels more like school now that the room is complete and it certainly makes it more fun for addie. There is so much to explore and so many possibilities, one step closer to an amazing kindergarten year starting in the fall!
