Our Sight word victory!

We are working on our sight words this week our 5 sight words are: a, are, at, we, and. This was our first adventure with sight words and mom had to get a little creative and that included a song and dance routine, but our first victory: she can read all 5 sight words.

As a reward for learning her first set of sight words as the sentence says "Mommy and Addie are going to sweet frogs." For those of you who may not know sweet frogs is our new favorite frozen yogurt place. I felt it was a fitting reward for her she worked hard and I am so proud of her.

A task we are taking on is learning confidence, learning to be confident in our responses...This was a big step for her.
