Birthday Boy

It seems like just yesterday I held this sweet boy in my arms for the first time. we waited and prayed for another child and how richly God has blessed us with this blessing. He has certainly made our home a happier place and our lives more blessed having him with us. Something about his first birthday has really touched my heart, maybe because I have seen so many parents in the last few years loosing their children in tragic ways; it makes you hug your children a little tighter and play with them a little longer. It makes you take them for granted less and love them more. I am so grateful for everyday with my children, even the days when I want to pull my hair out it is one more day that I can have them with me. 

On his birthday we kept it small just us at home and yaya came to visit. Celebrating one year with this little booger. 

Addie and I made cupcakes for him!

He certainly enjoyed eating them.
