I cannot believe that we are already done with our first week of school and it has truly be great! God has affirmed so much for me and I am so thankful for that. I am so at peace at were God has placed our family, and I am so excited for a great year.
This week in our homeschool...
I am not going to lie we started slow this week, I needed to get a feel for were we needed to be and we needed to ease back into our routine. We worked on consonant sounds, making patterns, and we learned a few cool facts from Buck Denver about the Bible. For our friday task we worked on something that will lead us into next week as we explore apples and take our first field trip apple picking we looked at how the apple grows. I found a great worksheet thanks to Pinterest that allowed her to cut and paste in her Science Journal that different stages of how an apple grow. She really enjoyed doing that and impressed her daddy with the knowledge she had gained.
Here she is with her Science Notebook and her work from today.
My Favorite thing this week...
My Favorite thing this week had to be her excitment, she was so excited to work on school and get started, she loves to learn and I love that about her.
Thats it for us this week, expect more next week after our week learning about apples and lots more! Kindergarten is the best!
