Big Sister's New Room

So we are shuffling everyone around to make room for the new baby...

Thought I would share with you her new room that we worked so hard on...lots of creative and handmade touches. Don't be afraid to find your favorite fabrics and use them to create a beautiful room! 

I used colors that she already had in her comforter and teal from a lamp that was going in her new room and headed to hobby lobby to see what I could come up with. These are the things that I came back with. Fabric, a few picture frames and a piece of wall art. 

These are some of the final products that I created using the different fabrics...Thank goodness for pinterest inspiration.

I know that she is almost 7 but I wanted to create a room that will grow with her and with having two younger brothers I wanted her to have a girly space that is all her own...Let me just tell you that she really does love it!
