The end of the school arrived thank goodness, somehow I thought it would never get here but it did....since we are prepping for a new baby I wanted to have a relaxing summer to just enjoy baby time and time with the kids....major task on my to do list to making that happen was getting everything together for the new school year....2nd grade will be here so fast.
I worked hard for a few weeks planning, getting my curriculum together and devising my plan of attack. We plan on teaching her to be more independent, teaching her how to take initiative in her work, etc. this led us to deciding to give her a spiral book filled with her work for the week and a check list of what needs to be completed. It took some extra work but I know it will be worth it.
