Science Lesson-Earth Day
We wanted to keep our project for Earth Day small, this is her first Earth Day lesson and I knew I wanted plant a few things. When then could watch them how they grow from seeds into flowers, or herbs. I saved up some baby food jars over the week to create our mini garden. ( I would love to grow a bigger one, one day!) In first for jars we planted Basil, Cilantro, and Chives....Yum!
In the second three jars we planted Corn flower seeds. These will come back as a surprise we will use in May...
We talked about how each seed we used was different but that God will use each of these seeds for something beautiful and great, just like each of us. This is also a great time to pull out the David and Goliath story, showing your little ones that God can do great things with something so small!
