Being a Mom was never on my to do list growing up. I had my own dreams, my own plans...No matter what I was going to see my dreams come true. Amazing thing about God....He already has a plan, He has already seen it all. God can change your dreams, I am a testament to that. When God saved me the vision I had for my life was wiped clean, what I thought I wanted was not what I needed and God knew just that. He gave me the greatest husband I could ever ask for, and the portrait of my life began to take shape.
The day I became a Mother, stilled my heart and taught me what true love was all about. Being a mother can be difficult, it can wear you down emotionally and physically. Being a Mother will make you happier than you ever imagined, and will bring a new definition to the word tired. You will cry for their successes and cry out to God when the fail. You will spend hours on your knees praying for their lives and thanking God that you have them.
Another Amazing thing that God provides to mother's is a mother's heart. A mother's heart is not limited, it is not limited in who they love and treat as their own. I have found that God provides a mother to the motherless. God prepares special hearts for a job like this. They don't have to have your blood flowing through them for them to call you their mother. Love knows no limits when you are a mother.
I am so blessed, I am so incredibly blessed. I treasure my blessings that I call my children.
